Tools for reporting, pattern recognition, trend processing, aggregation and another data-heavy usage, require different and more immediate access to your data than what is available through our regular online web service APIs. Standard apps in the App Store that offer dashboards, reports, and business intelligence capabilities, use this mirroring capability combined with their own offering.
If you want to use reporting tools other than those available in the App Store, or even in addition to these, you can do so by subscribing to the Database Mirroring Service here.
The Database Mirroring Service creates a read-only copy of your database and lets you store this at a chosen address/location where you can get easy access to it. The Database Mirroring Service will also keep this database continuously updated by submitting incremental changes in a predefined time interval (approx every 20 minutes as of September 2019).
The mirror is a read-only copy designed for this purpose. (It cannot be used to run local SuperOffice clients or act as an offline version of your installation).
Subscribing to Database Mirroring Service lets you create as many copies of your database as you require if you should need more than one copy of your database. Each copy is updated at the same time. The copy of your database resides at a location chosen and managed by you or your partner on your behalf.
To activate additional mirrors for your database, just click on the "Sign-up" button, and complete the form with the necessary information to set up your mirror. When everything is ready, we will activate your mirror and send it to your chosen location. Each mirror you want to use, needs to be activated here, via the App Store by completing the form telling us where you want the mirror to reside.
